HAEPAARY (Jellyfish) is an alt-electronic duo consisting of Minhee (vocal/general producer) and Hyewon (sound producer/instrument). It mainly presents songs that reinterpret the melody and lyrics of Jongmyo Jeryeak, which was ancestral rite music, and Namchang songs, which are traditional songs that were pungryu music, and placed them in a soundscape based on ambient and techno. Jellyfish's tracks, which combine the aural idioms of rave and trance with Confucian music stuffed with form and discipline, bring out the aspects of pop hidden in refined song and dance, imagining a timid club party for listeners who have lost track of the trend.
